My Boss (first name on the door) is getting an error installing the latest version of PGP (Security Essentials).
Here are the steps and the results:
Unpacks Zip to a local directory on laptop
runs the install from the unpacked location
gets the following

ISSUE 1:
email from apple mail is decrypted in viewer without requiring passphrase!!! how IS THIS POSSIBLE??
i have retain passphrase set to never (although it always to seems to reset to 3seconds??? issue 1b.)
GPG Version: Kleopatra Ver 2.1.1
PGP Version: PGP Command Line 10.2 build 283
Flow:
1) Client perform encryption using GPG4Win. File size is 30kb. File output is abcd.dat.gpg
2) Client upload the encrypted file abcd.dat.gpg to our FTP server via SFTP Protocol (Tectia Client). The transfer method is ASCII mode.

I dual-boot Windows 7 & Ubuntu on my laptop. Grub2 is installed on /dev/sda and holds the usual entries for ubuntu & windows. /boot does not have a separate mount point but is part of the / filesystem.
After using PGP WDE, I can't boot into Linux. The bootloader displays correctly, however after selecting ubuntu, I get the following error:

I am running Encryption Desktop 10.2.1 on OSX 10.7.5. As far as I know all I am doing is whole disk encryption, and when I boot the bootguard asks me for my passphrase, and I give it and the machine boots and my applications start successfully.
Basic Information :
- Laptop running Windows XP
- HDD fully encrypted by PGP V 10.3.0 MP1 Build 9060 - Licensed to IBM Corporation
The Problem :
- When the HDD is installed in the original laptop, as the main HDD :
- boot passes PGP authentication
Can PGP support WDE for an external drive that only contains the Windows 8 togo operating system? So far Truecrypt does and I would prefer to use PGP.
I have the following situation: I had to reinstall the operating system on our general manager PC. He had his computer encrypted with PGP and a hardware token. After i reinstalled the OS (Windows XP 32 bit), all necessary programs installed and moved back all his data, I installed the latest version of PGP Desktop.
I was in the process of decrypting an external USB HD when my house lost power. Now that power is restored.... I went to resume the decryption process with no success. This is what I have done so far.......any and all help would be greatly appreciated:

Is it possible with SEMS 3.3.0 mail gateway to run your Public key server seperate than your private key server when you run GKM for keys.
So the idea is placing your public key server keys.example.com in the DMZ zone and the server that keeps the privatekeys on your internal lan side.

I am running PGP Desktop 10.0.3.
I uploaded my public key to keyserver.pgp.com a dew years back. Every year, I would get an email to the various signing email addresses asking me to confirm that I want the email address to appear in the key. I suddenly noticed that I no longer got the annual messages, except for one of the original four addresses.
We're trying to install the 32bit FullDisk on the server with 64bit FullDisk already installed so that we can offer a 32bit FullDisk encryption to users with 32bit OS's but when I try to load 32bit I get error: Another verison of this product is already installed
How do we get around this to be able to support folks with 32 bit OS's?

For a while a client had PGP Desktop working with Outlook whereby when the client opens the attachment (a encrypted HTML Form) they are prompted to decrypt.
It decypts as a .dat file. They then click on it from the email and it opens into Internet Exploreer and then they print.

This post concerns my laptop which is running Win 7 (64-bit) with one primary HDD with a single primary partition formatted with NTFS running PGP Desktop. I recently attempted to migrate to an SSD for performance reasons, that's when disaster struck.
Looking for a way to sort or group all folders that are encrypted by PGP Netshare together. I'm trying to see how many folders are actually encrypted so i can figure out a way to decrypt them faster than one-by-one.
If there's a solution to execute a global decryption then that would be GREAT!
