The migration is going fine with the exception of the requirement to change the bootguard screen from the simple screen of passphrase only to detailed, where it asks for username, password and domain.

I need a solution
I wish to use PGP to create a virtal drive. Which is the cheapest option that symantec offers?
I saw the "Drive Encryption" option, however, it appears that it only has the option to encrypt your entire hardrive. Since I only wish to use up 30 GB for my virtual drive this would not be my first choice.

We created a Response rule to send DLP alerts (Endpoint & Prevent) to AlertLogic.Alerts are going to our dashboard but the only field that is not displaying data is User.
Here is how we have defined that variable:

I also tried USER=$DATA_OWNER$, USER=$EMPLOYEE_CODE$ but am still getting N/A.

Symantec Encryption Server- PGP Universal
It would be nice if an email could be sent to the admin each time a public key is loaded onto the server requiring approval or validation. Public users who send their public keys to the server have to wait for admin's approval depending on how the process is set up. Currently, there is not a way for the admin to automatically be informed that new keys are posted waiting for approval.

SSD Whole Disk Encryption
I need a solution
I have a Samsung 840 Pro SSD (256gb). My company requires that all drives (in laptops) are encrypted using PGP whole disk encryption.
Does anyone know if WDE will function ok on this drive?
As far as I can tell Symantec PGP WDE does support SSDs. I do expect a performance hit due to the encryption.

Hi everybody,
I have seen a case where Encryption Desktop caused performance issues once Outlook 2010 has been started on the machine.
It turend out that they had a very similar issue as the one described in TECH201475.
The difference is that the system became unresponsive and killing the outlook.exe task didn't help in that case.
